A Day to Remember, Florida’s sensational metalcore and pop punk artists are bringing their signature sounds to the Rebel Toronto!
A Day to Remember was formed in Ocala (Florida) in 2003 by singer Jeremy McKinnon, guitarists Neil Westfall and Tom Denney, bassist Joshua Woodard, and drummer Bobby Scruggs. The band’s been through a few line up changes over the years and it currently consists of Jeremy (lead vocals), Neil (rhythm guitar and backing vocals, Joshua (bass guitar), Alex Shelnutt (drums), and Kevin Skaff (lead guitar and backing vocals). Their musical style is best described as a blend of metalcore (a broad fusion genre of extreme metal and hardcore punk, noted for its use of breakdowns, which are slow, intense passages that are conducive to moshing), pop punk (a fusion genre that typically combines fast punk rock tempos, power chord changes and loud, distorted electric guitars with pop influenced melodies and lyrical themes), and post hardcore (a subgenre of hardcore punk music that maintains its aggression and intensity, but emphasizes a greater degree of creative expression). They’ve had a stellar career with 6 studio albums, 3 video albums, 22 music videos, 3 extended plays, 13 singles, and they’ve performed with Bring Me the Horizon, Of Mice and Men, The Story So Far, Memphis May Fire, Attila, Letlive, and many other renowned bands.
Don't miss your chance to see these artists add a unique touch to post hardcore, metalcore, and pop punk music!
