Ozuna (birth name Juan Carlos Ozuna Rosado) was born in San Juan (Puerto Rico) in 1992 and is a singer. He began his musical journey at the age of 12 by writing songs and he made his debut in 2012 with the track 'Imaginado'. His musical style is best described as a blend of Latin pop (a subgenre of pop - commonly associated with Spanish language pop, rock, and dance music – that usually combines upbeat Latin American music with American pop music, but can also include pop music from anywhere in the Spanish speaking world), reggaetón (a form of dance music of Puerto Rican origin, characterized by a fusion of Latin rhythms, dancehall, and hip hop), and the Latin version of trap (a subgenre of Southern hip hop that originated in the 1990s and is characterized by ominous lyrics, heavy kick drums from a Roland TR 808 synthesizer, double time division hi hats, and layered synthesizers). He's had a stellar career with 1 studio album, 60 singles, and he's collaborated with many renowned artists such as Arcángel, Farruko, Daddy Yankee, Cosculluela, Brytiago, Yandel, Pusho, Anuel AA, and Alex Sensation. He's received many accolades including the 2017 Premios Juventud Award for Best Breakthrough Artist.
